Afeez Football League

What we do

Development :

The development of football lays the foundation for a solid sport. It is essential we keep football first in everything we do. Youth and amateur football are key building blocks of tomorrow’s elite men’s and women’s game and are fundamental to the success of African football. Together with our member associations, clubs, players, and fans, we will work to build a unified and solid football to grow African football.

Principal Objective

The principal objective of the AfeezFL is to stage the most competitive and compelling league with world-class players and, through the equitable distribution of broadcast and commercial revenues, to enable clubs to develop so that African competition is a realistic aim and, once there, they are playing at a level where they can compete effectively. However, we do not operate in isolation. We work proactively and constructively with our Member Clubs and the other football authorities to improve the quality of football, both in Nigeria, African and across the world.

We are designed to ensure that African remains true to its core values
